Adam Filler is a visionary leader with over 20 years of experience in pre-construction, construction management, general contracting, and subcontracting, delivering more than 2 million square feet of senior living, medical, and multifamily projects. His extensive background spanning development and construction—from market research and land acquisition to design procurement, municipal approvals, and project execution—provides a unique perspective that distinguishes him from most general contractors, enabling holistic solutions that align with client and community goals. Fueled by a passion for building communities that enhance lives, Adam drove transformative growth during his 12-year tenure with one of the Midwest’s premier general contractors, overseeing 1 million square feet of senior living and medical facilities valued at nearly $200 million. As a senior living development and contracting leader, he grew revenue from $20 million to $80 million in two years, adding 800,000 square feet to his portfolio. As Vice President of Development at Avenue Development, he spearheaded all facets of development, securing TIFs and approvals. Later, he led a multifamily Exteriors Division, growing revenue from $13 million to $33 million over three years through roofing, siding, windows, and deck projects. Adam has also passed the NASCLA Exam and holds contractor licenses in Indiana, Michigan, and North Carolina, further solidifying his industry expertise.

Adam’s team-first approach fosters collaboration, empowers innovation, and drives success. His belief that exceptional projects stem from strong relationships inspires teams to build with purpose. A Purdue University graduate with a BS in Building Construction Management, Adam is a former board member of Purdue’s Construction Advisory Council and the Hamilton County Area Neighborhood Development.

Brent has 15+ years of construction experience throughout the United States in both the GC and Owner Agent roles, most of which were spent with Adam Filler, Michael Mattingly, Ashley Dyer and Lyndsy Cain at Meyer Najem Construction. While with one of Midwest’s largest and renowned General Contractors for 13 years, he also constructed over a million square feet of senior living and medical space and a portfolio valued nearly $200 million.  He has successfully delivered projects ranging from tenant improvements to 5-story ground-up construction and multi-facility campus development. As VP of Construction, he oversees development project progress from inception from the development team from preconstruction through warranty.

Brent graduated from Purdue University with a B.S. in Building Construction Management.

Kristin has 17+ years of experience in construction accounting, project management, operations, office administration and HR. Her career in construction began as a Receptionist at a local building envelope company. Kristin’s natural insight for the construction industry has elevated her to an array of roles including Accounts Receivable Specialist, Operations Administrator, Project Coordinator and Exteriors Account Manager. Her ability to be tasked with high level management will play an intricate role in her position as Controller for Avenue Construction. Construction is not only her drive but has become her passion.

Kristin loves music, going to outdoor concerts and spending time with her 2 girls. She also enjoys the beach and most outdoor activities.

With 45+ years of experience, Dick Holmes brings invaluable talent to the Avenue Construction Team. Dick’s career in the construction industry began early on with a local masonry firm as a jackhammer operator. The love for the business later evolved to Superintendent position. Time and again, Dick has proven to be a top performer and a team player. His professional success is heavily based on his ability to deliver projects on time, willingness to work through difficult issues with all parties in mind and his desire to see the team success. His responsibilities include overall onsite coordination of subcontractors and vendors, quality control, safety, scheduling and as well as aiding in the growth of Avenue Construction Superintendents through mentoring. When not in the field, Dick enjoys spending time with friends and family.

Brian Brewer is a retired Volunteer Fireman Captain and brings over 35+ years of experience in the construction industry to the Avenue Team. In 1987, he started working as a laborer for his family business. This core foundation and opportunity has been the guiding principle through many of the roles Brian has mastered throughout the years. His vast construction portfolio includes both residential and commercial construction projects. Within that portfolio, Brian has gained invaluable experience with multi-family apartments and senior living facilities. Brian provides a strong work ethic to the Avenue team and is not afraid to roll up his sleeves to get the job done.

In his free time, Brian enjoys spending time with his family and grandkids. When he’s not watching his favorite sport – NASCAR, Brian might be found restoring furniture that he and his wife hand picked on one of their many antiquing road trips.

With over 25 years of experience in construction, Tim brings a diverse talent to the Avenue Construction Team. Tim got his start in construction after attending the Jouneyman’s Carpenter Apprenticeship Training Center. He has worked on projects ranging from restaurants, hospitals, prisons, and stadiums, to name a few. He has supervised renovation improvements in hotels and was the General Trades Project Engineer for an Airport Terminal. Owning the job from start to finish is what drives Tim to succeed. Growing up as a military child, Tim’s family moved every 2 or 3 years. Before high school he lived in 4 different states, Puerto Rico and England. He has also relocated to 7 different states for work. Now that he is settled in Indianapolis, he enjoys gardening, cooking, biking and cheering on the Colts. Tim is also a Trail Building Crew Member of the Hoosier Mountain Bike Association.

Aaron Anderson brings over 40+ years of construction experience to Avenue Construction. He has done residential, commercial and owned his own company. Aaron brings a strong work ethic and attention to detail to every project. He enjoys what he does and staying focused is important to him. Aaron is a 4th generation carpenter and passing along his knowledge on to his own son, who is now a 5th generation carpenter, has been one of the things he is most proud of. When Aaron isn’t on the job site, he enjoys dirt track late model racing.

Darryl Claunch brings over 26+ years of construction experience to the Avenue Construction Team. Darryl has worked on a variety of project scopes ranging from renovations of old warehouses, apartments, and condos to the new construction of high-end hotels, casinos, and office buildings. Darryl is dedicated to working in a team environment; his work ethic and problem-solving skills are at the forefront of his continued high-level performance. When he isn’t on the job site mentoring the younger generation on the foundation of hard work; he is at home with his family. Darryl considers himself to be a homebody and enjoys woodworking in his spare time.

Matt Haase brings over 32 years of residential and commercial construction expertise to the Avenue Construction Team. Coming from a construction family, Matt developed his passion for the construction industry at an early age. Much of his experience can be attributed to this, as well as owning and operating his own general contracting firm. Matt’s diverse background in both new construction and renovations includes retail, food service, industrial, municipal, senior living and multifamily. As a Senior Project Manager, Matt will play an intricate role in bringing projects from design to finish.

He is a long time Indiana Native who enjoys time outdoors and with family. The key to Matt’s professional success is the willingness to always learn and take on new challenges.

Paul McCully is ready to lead the charge as Senior Project Manager for Avenue Construction. Paul’s invaluable knowledge starts with his background of Building Construction Management degree from IUPUI and holds an MBA from IU Kelley School of Business in Bloomington, IN. He’s led over $180 million in ground up multifamily projects totaling well over 1,000 units in Central Indiana alone. As a project manager for another local construction firm, Paul oversaw multifamily projects throughout the US which included new construction and redevelopment of 9,200 units plus. Also notable, he developed a business model for rapid renovations that contributed to increased revenues from $15 million to $95 million over a 4-year period. Paul has a list of reputable clientele including Purdue University, Indiana Convention Center, Lucas Oil Stadium, Cummins Corporation, Duke Energy and The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis to name a few. Paul’s influence and expertise will be a key aspect of delivering quality projects.

When Paul gets a chance, he enjoys golfing, running and anything outdoors. Paul and his family call Carmel home and are happy to root for maize and blue – Michigan.

Fatai’s background in the construction industry began 15 years ago as an intern for Pizzo Design in Nigeria. In 2016 when he moved to the United States, he started off as an Assistant Superintendent. By 2021 he was working as an Assistant Project Manager for a local GC until 2024. Fatai’s passion for knowledge is what drives him to continue to grow personally and professionally. The day is not complete unless he has learned something new. He is a graduate of the University of Lagos in Nigeria, a member of the Project Management Institute as a Certified Associate of Project Management and is currently working on becoming a certified Project Management Professional. Outside of work, Fatai enjoys spending time with his wife, his son and 2 daughters. They love to travel to Nigeria to visit family or help where they can at home in their community. On the weekends Fatai loves playing or watching his favorite soccer team. Go Arsenal FC London!

Dominic joins the Avenue Construction team with 10 years of experience in the construction field. He has spent a total of 5 years in the field and 5 years in management for previous General Contractors. Dominic attended Marion University on a football scholarship and as the quarterback took his team to the National Championship in 2015.

In his free time, Dominic loves to be outdoors, play golf, and is an avid football fan. Striving to learn something new every day is what makes Dominic a valuable team player. He lives by the motto, “whatever you do in life, do it to the best of your ability.”

Conner Belcher graduated from IUPUI with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Minor in Mathematics. He is eager to put his love for crunching numbers to good use by bringing a key role to the estimating department for Avenue Construction. After years of being in the field, Conner has a unique estimating lense. He has seen firsthand how estimation directly impacts a construction project and how to adapt and forecast to keep a job within budget. Conner has always worn many hats including glazier, installer and project engineer to name a few. Some of the most fascinating projects Conner has been on were also some of the largest buildings in West Lafayette, IN.

For fun, Conner likes to tinker with upgrades to his car in hopes to get it on the track at the Putnam Park Road Course. If he could put any vacation spot on repeat, it would be the Dominican Republic.

Sabrina has 6 years of experience in the construction industry delivering exceptional project outcomes. She began her career as a Project Manager where she developed a keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills which play an intricate role in her position as Project Accountant for Avenue Construction. Passionate about continuous growth, Sabrina is eager to grow within the company to further develop her skills and is dedicated to contributing to its ongoing success.

Beyond the numbers, Sabrina is a devoted mother of four who cherishes camping trips and outdoor explorations with family. A curious mind, Sabrina loves reading and learning new things, firmly believing that self- belief is the cornerstone of achievement – because you are your greatest motivator!

With over three years of experience in construction – including meticulous underground utility work and residential electrical, Kaden brings a strong work ethic and attention to detail to every project. Before joining Avenue in 2024, he contributed to the successful completion of over 300 residential homes and 10 commercial projects. Kaden holds a variety of OSHA certifications. He is proficient in print reading and has held roles from laborer to lead well technician. Now a valued member of Avenue, he focuses on jobsite safety, organization, and quality control all while going to school for construction management. Kaden is committed to growing with the company and taking on new challenges in the construction industry.
